How can we help you?
Travel documents and requirements
Upon reaching the boarding gate, it's crucial to present your boarding card and valid travel documents for all passengers, regardless of their age, including children and infants.
Ensure that you possess all the required travel documents, including your passport and visa. If you're uncertain about the specific entry requirements for your destination, we recommend consulting the relevant foreign office in your country before embarking on your journey or to use our Traveldoc tool for more information. Please be aware that we cannot assume responsibility if you are denied boarding due to a lack of essential travel documents.
When booking a flight, please ensure the passenger's full name is entered exactly as it appears in their travel document.
In case you made a mistake during booking, you can modify your name for free in your WIZZ Account in the following cases:
- Incorrect title (e.g., Mr./Ms.)
- Abbreviated name (e.g., Thomas J. Smith vs. Thomas John Smith)
- Typos or misspellings of up to 3 characters
For other name corrections, please contact the Wizz Air Call Centre within 2 hours of booking. After this timeframe, a name change fee will apply:
- €60.00 when changing the name on our site
- €60.00 when changing through the Wizz Air Call Centre. A Call Centre Transaction Fee will be applied in addition to the Name Change Fee.
For more information of booking changes, please visit Name change page.
