Cabin baggage

Wizz Air allows two types of bags to be brought onboard:

  • Free carry-on bag
  • Trolley bag (for WIZZ Priority holders)

Additionally, the following items can be taken onboard at no extra cost:

  • A coat or blanket
  • Mobile phone
  • Reading material for the flight
  • Duty-free items purchased in the airside departure lounge after passing through the security check
  • For infants (0-2 years): food for the flight's duration and a foldable baby stroller or a small crib (can be taken until the aircraft door or steps)
  • A pair of crutches for physically disabled passengers

RESTRICTED ITEMS

Unchecked baggage or personal property must not contain antique arms, swords, knives, scissors, blades, cutlery, darts, syringes, and other sharp objects, as well as any item that, in our opinion, could be used as a weapon.

Unchecked baggage or personal property may only contain items not excluded from carriage, and only in such quantity and packaging as determined by effective laws and safety regulations at the time.

It is the passenger’s responsibility to be aware of the list of restricted items for both carry-on and check-in baggage before packing for the flight.

Please note that motorized suitcases are not allowed for transportation, either onboard or in the hold

For the safety of all passengers, our flights adhere to government-imposed restrictions on liquids in cabin baggage:

  • The liquid must be in a container with a maximum volume of 100 ml.
  • All liquid containers meeting the maximum volume of 100 ml should comfortably fit into a transparent, resealable, 1-litre plastic bag measuring 20 x 20 cm.
  • The plastic bag should be presented separately at security.
  • Any liquid not meeting the specified requirements will be disposed of at airport security. Please exercise caution when packing your hand luggage.
