Wizz Air, Europe’s most environmentally sustainable airline*, today announced that it is expanding its network with two new destinations from Sofia - Alghero (Italy) and Kraków (Poland). Scheduled flights will begin in June, with flights on Thursday and Sunday to Alghero and flights on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to Kraków. With the new routes, Wizz Air consolidates its position as one of the leading airlines in Bulgaria, offering the only direct flights from Sofia to Alghero and Kraków.
Kraków, located in southern Poland, is one of the oldest and most culturally significant cities in Europe. Known for its historical landmarks such as Wawel Castle and the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kraków offers a unique blend of medieval architecture and modern cultural experiences.
