Wizz Air, EMEA’s most environmentally sustainable airline*, is pleased to announce the launch of the Summer Schedule 2025, the new summer flight program that expands its network of connections from Italy to some of the most popular destinations in Europe, Middle East and North Africa. With this expansion, the airline strengthens its presence in the Italian market, offering travellers the opportunity to reach new destinations with direct flights and quick connections.
For the summer 2025 season, Wizz Air will operate more than 200 routes from Italy to 80 destinations across 32 countries, with a largest ever summer offer of over 13 million low-fare seats.
From Rome Fiumicino new flights to Zaragoza and Bilbao and in addition to various beach holiday destinations such as popular Greek islands Corfu, Mykonos, Skiathos, Santorini, and Zakynthos, Wizz Air will operate 14 weekly connections to London, Madrid, and Barcelona. Furthermore, there will be 9 weekly flights to Valencia and 7 flights to both Malaga and Seville. Focusing on routes to Western Europe, Wizz Air will also operate 7 weekly flights to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.
At Milan Malpensa, notable highlights include 12 weekly connections to London Gatwick, but here too, the most frequent routes are to Spain. Wizz Air will increase the number of weekly flights from Milan to Barcelona to 9, in the direction of Madrid to 7 and towards Málaga and Valencia to 5. Good connections from Milano to the Greek islands Crete, Corfu, Mykonos, Skiathos, Santorini and Zakynthos.
Announced as a major news at the end of 2024, the Venice-Barcelona and Venice-Madrid routes represent two of the most important connections for passengers from the northeast who wish to reach Spain. At the Venice Marco Polo Airport base, in addition to the numerous destinations accessible with the airline, the frequency of flights to both the Spanish capital and Gaudí's city will be increased to 7 times per week.

Tickets for the summer season 2025 are already available on Wizz Air’s website and official WIZZ app. By booking in advance, passengers can take advantage of the best fares and fly to some of the most popular summer destinations.
Flights will be operated with the state-of-art Airbus A321neo, a large aircraft with 239 seats, recognized as the most fuel-efficient and sustainable in its category.
