Wizz Air, the most environmentally sustainable airline globally* announced today, on World Nature Conservation Day, the commencement of the second term of its voluntary WIZZ Sustainability Ambassador program. Building upon the achievements of the
initial term, which was a first of its kind initiative, employees will continue to participate in local sustainability projects, promoting eco-friendly practices and sharing valuable insights with colleagues. As we celebrate World Nature Conservation
Day, we recognize the vital role of our WIZZ Sustainability Ambassadors in preserving and protecting our natural resources and ecosystems.
Following the successful inaugural year of the programme, Wizz Air selected three outstanding winners from three different bases to reward the employees who achieved the highest employee engagement, the highest number of educational campaigns and
in the most impactful charity event organization.
For the new term, the WIZZ Sustainability Ambassadors will be selected from 15 different bases from across Wizz Air’s entire network. The new term will begin in September 2024.
