Terms and conditions of student and senior groups
1. GROUPS:
Group bookings are available for groups of 16 or more passengers.
2. STUDENT:
A person under the age of 25 on the date of travel. In the case of return
flights, a passenger travelling as a Student must also be aged under 25 on
the date of the return flight.
3. SENIOR: A person aged 65 or older by the date of travel.
4. CAREGIVERS: One “Caregiver” passenger is also eligible to be
part of the Student/Senior booking per every 9 Student/Senior passengers
booked. Caregivers have no age restrictions.
5. STUDENT GROUPS: Student discounts are available only for Groups
where all passengers are Students, with the exception of the permitted number
of Caregivers.
6. SENIOR GROUPS: Senior discounts are available only for Groups
where all passengers are Seniors, with the exception of the permitted number
of Caregivers.
7. Student
or Senior discounts cannot be used interchangeably across members of a single
group booking.
8. All
names and birth dates of each and every passenger in the group shall be
listed in the wizzair.com booking system no later than 72 hours before the
scheduled departure of the first flight. The names and birth dates listed
shall be identical to the data in the passengers’ Travel Documents used for
the flight(s).
9. At the
airport, at the check-in desk, and at the boarding gate, handling agents may
check the travel documents of the group members to verify the group’s
eligibility for applied discounts. If the Student or Senior discount
requirements are not met, Wizz Air reserves the right to refuse the carriage
of the group and their baggage.
10. If you have created a
Group Reservation with Student or Senior Discount but your passengers do not
meet the criteria ofStudent/Senior Discount requirements you can contact
our Group Booking Department and we can divide the passengers that do not fit
in the criteria. This new reservation which was previously part of the whole
group can be re-booked under the current Regular or Group fare prices,
depending on the number of passengers, or cancelled (as per General Conditions
of Carriage). The change of reservation must be requested 72 hours
before departure of the first flight the latest.
For all
definitions and questions not settled in these Terms and Conditions, the
General Conditions of Carriage for Wizz Air shall apply.
